At the park on a non school day. The weather is cooler but there are a ton of friends here so he is happy to run like a madman with them.

I’m a little annoyed though. Yesterday we came to the park and there were a group of people who were bbqing. well they left a huge mess. cans of pop everywhere. even a dirty diaper. they didn’t bother putting things in the garbage and there are 3 of them here! the BBQ pits are dirty and there are cigarette butts everywhere. sigh….why are people like this? let’s be a community and keep our areas clean!

The emerald city indeed. What a great view of downtown Seattle. The houses in the area are pretty sweet to boot if you had 5 million dollars in pocket change lying around.

Spring us definitively my favourite season. Austin has pretty foliage but I missed the cherry blossom season in the pacific northwest. It’s lovely to see all the blooming spring flowers in the most unlikely places like roundabouts that help slow down traffic in neighbourhoods. So pretty.

I was well enough to cook for the family and Pax wanted macaroni.

I basically used leftovers and whatever was in my pantry. It turned out yummy and Pax ate it up so I’m happy!

My cousin is having her first baby and I can’t wait! I don’t make these much anymore but I can’t say no to them! I still need to make little M her blanket but I meed to work on a design and then look at the fabrics I have.
I love Japanese fabrics so much and I hope they enjoy the blanket.

It was a huge help to have my mum here or I wouldn’t have gotten it done if it weren’t for her.

Will be sending it in the mail tomorrow!
